Join us at our March Branch Meeting

  • Welcome Becky White, Co-President Lansdale AAUW

On March 17, Becky White will lead us in a discussion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Becky leads her department D & I committee at Merck and has been on her personal Allyship to ALL journey since 2019. She would like to share her journey with the group with the hopes of highlighting the importance of being an active Ally to All and can share resources to help others on their own journey.

As a reminder, Becky is one of our own Lansdale Branch members! In addition to serving on several committees (Trivia, STEM for Girls-DYF and more), she served as co-President this year. We are thrilled to have someone so talented and active in our Branch, so please join us for this important discussion and opportunity to meet one of our own talented leaders.

  • Tuesday, April 21: Lansdale Branch Meeting - How Should Our Government Work? We are welcoming Judge Suzan Leonard, Judge Edward Diasio and Marguerite Nocchi, Esq. to discuss how governments works at the Local, State and Federal levels. Event to be held at ESC E. Hancock St, Lansdale (6:45pm Social Hour and program to follow.)

    girls on average each year from 50 Schools in 4 counties at STEM for Girls - Discover Your Future, our all-day event since 1993 hosting interactive workshops conducted by outstanding women professionals who serve as leaders and role models in STEM fields

  • 24 YEARS

    of donations to organizations that help disadvantaged women get back on their feet through a program we call The Women’s Project

  • OVER $7,700

    total for books and materials that help celebrate Women’s History Month donated since 1973 to all schools (17) in the North Penn District

  • 40 YEARS

    of scholarships totaling over $150,000 given to high school seniors

  • OVER $12,000

    in Higher Education Scholarships awarded to deserving female non-traditional students since 2020

  • OVER 500

    third grade students mentored by AAUW branch members through the exchange of letters as well as a book for the child allowing them to practice their reading and writing skills in our Write Read Write program, started in 2002

  • $100 EACH

    for a special award to a female middle school and high school student at the Montgomery County Science Research Competition since 2018
